Pneumatic glue guns

Industrial pneumatic hotmelt glue guns have an integrated glue tank. Depending on the model, the glue tank has a capacity of 250 or 330 ml and their power is at least 500 W. This allows us to use hot melt adhesives in granular, pillow or roll form.  The adhesive melts in the tank and is then applied to the material depending on the dispensing method – mechanical or pneumatic. 

Where will pneumatic hotmelt glue guns be used?

The built-in chamber in the gun allows the use of a variety of adhesives. The form of hot-melt adhesives – granules, pads or rollers – makes a very wide range of products possible, and this makes these guns suitable for many assembly jobs. Pneumatic glue guns are used in a variety of industries, such as:

• packaging (e.g. cardboard adhesive)
• construction (various types of construction adhesive),
• furniture industry (wood adhesives),
• printing industry (adhesives for polygraphics)

What advantages do pneumatic hotmelt glue guns have?

Depending on the model, pneumatic glue guns have temperature control, either manual or electronic. Some models, such as the TR 55 LCD, are equipped with an electronic temperature controller with LCD display, which ensures the optimum operating temperature of the adhesive, while protecting against overheating. In addition, these guns are extremely lightweight and balanced, preventing operator fatigue. Each unit can be suspended from a balancer. This allows the device to be positioned optimally during operation. In the case of the MS 200 model, glue application is carried out without air, while the other models use a pneumatic method. The TR 60 LCD model has the additional option of spray adhesive application. These types of guns have a higher glue output compared to glue guns for sticks. 

What adhesives are used in pneumatic hotmelt glue guns?

These include adhesives based on EVA, polyolefin (APAO), PSA and PUR adhesives in aluminium cartridges. The form of hotmelt adhesives – granules, pads or cylinders – makes a very wide range of products possible.
